BUS

For a convenient and budget-friendly option, the 100 Express bus line operates between the airport and the heart of the city 24 hours a day. A 90-minute metropolitan ticket costs just 3 lei, with payment available via STB travel cards, contactless credit cards, SMS (text “C” for 90 minutes or “AB” for 24 hours to 7458), metropolitan cards, or Tourist Travel Cards.

TAXI

Taxis are readily available at dedicated stands outside the Arrivals terminal and on the ground floor of the arrivals area. Fares to the city center generally range from 50 to 80 lei (about 10–17 euros), with metered rates between 2.29 and 3.50 lei per kilometer.

TRAIN

The airport train provides a quick connection to Bucharest North Railway Station, with a journey time of approximately 20 minutes. Trains run every 40 minutes, around the clock, offering a fast and reliable way to reach the city’s main rail hub.

RIDE-HAILING SERVICES
